There has even been research that indicates that people from different climates also sweat differently.
For example, if you were born and grew up in a hot or humid climate, then it is more likely that you have more mature and active sweat glands than a person who lives in a cold climate.
Now, you may be asking yourself, does how much you sweat impact the effectiveness of your workout? Some people are under the impression that a workout is only effective if you’re drenched in sweat after it.
However, that is not true. It is completely possible to have a very effective and calorie-burning workout while barely breaking a sweat.
For example, if you’re working out in an air-conditioned room or outdoors where there is a lot of breezes, then the sweat would likely quickly evaporate, leaving you relatively dry.
Then, if the same workout is done in a hot or humid room, you’d be drenched in sweat. Also, the amount that you sweat also depends on your level of hydration.
A dehydrated person will sweat a lot less than a well-hydrated person because the body would be trying to hold onto as much water as possible.
